We are FAA Certified Drone Pilots
Occasionally, we will run into areas where we will need permission to fly our drones. Under the FAA's Part 107 regulations, drone pilots face several important restrictions designed to promote safety in the national airspace. To operate in controlled airspace, pilots must obtain authorization, typically through the LAANC system, ensuring they are aware of any nearby aircraft activity. This may take a little time but is routine.
Below is a map of the flight restriction zones.
The hashed areas are auto approval areas, while the areas outlined in red require air traffic control authorization from the local airports. (But we will handle all of that!)
